Dana Brunetti is the president of Trigger Street Productions, and most recently produced Captain Phillips alongside Scott Rudin and Michael De Luca, written by Billy Ray starring Tom Hanks and directed by Paul Greengrass. The film received four Golden Globe and six Academy Award nominations including Best Picture. Brunetti also produced the new Netflix Original Series House of Cards directed by David Fincher starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright which is now in its third season. In 2013, the show has received nine Primetime Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe nominations, and it was the first non-traditional television show to land nominations in a major Emmys category. In 2014, it has thirteen Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series. In 2009, he produced the film The Social Network, the story of how Facebook was created. The film was directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin. The Social Network received numerous accolades including eight Academy Award and six Golden Globe nominations. Brunetti won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, as well as many others including the National Board of Review and The Critics Choice Award. Upcoming film projects include partnering up with Michael De Luca to make the film adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey, where the book has sold over 90 million copies worldwide. He will also work with De Luca on the film adaptation of the game Gran Turismo, and the upcoming biopic The Life of Evel starring Channing Tatum. He has also entered into a collaborative first look deal with Giant Pirates Entertainment founded by former Magical Elves COO Ross Jacobson and Tijuana Entertainment co-founder Troy Searer, where he will expand into the unscripted television space. Giant Pirates and Trigger Street have many projects in development, including an unscripted show featuring the brothers behind the fashion brand Forrest & Bob. Other films he has produced include Shrink, Casino Jack, Mini's First Time, Safe, The Sasquatch Gang, the documentaries Uncle Frank, and America Rebuilds: A Year at Ground Zero. In 2013, Dana won a Special Achievement Webby Award for his impact on the Web as the founder of Trigger Street Labs - an online platform for feedback and exposure for undiscovered writing and filmmaking talent.
